Did you know that there are ways to check your phone balance without the help of a third party? If you’re like most people, you probably don’t even know that this is an option. But, it’s true. Checking your phone balance isn’t as difficult as some people might think it is. In order to check your mobile phone balance, you will need access to the Internet on another device or PC. This way, you can check the balance that is stored in your SIM card and see if there’s enough money available for you to make calls or text messages. You should also be aware that checking your phone balance does not automatically add money directly into your account. You will have to do this manually by using a payment service provider like Google Wallet or MasterCard PayPass (depending on which network your mobile device is registered with).
How to Check a Mobile Phone Balance Without a Third Party
First, you’ll want to get on your mobile device and open the Settings menu. From there, you will want to open the Accounts menu and tap the option that says “Add account.” This will allow you to add an existing account, like a Gmail account. Once you have an account added, you will want to scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click on “Manage credit and debit cards.” Next, you will need to select either the Google or MasterCard option to check your mobile phone balance. The method for doing so will depend on the network that you are using.
Use Google Wallet for Android Balance Checking
Google Wallet is an account that you can add to many Android devices. Just like the example above, you will want to open the Settings menu and choose the option that says “Add account.” From there, you will want to select “Add another account.” Once you have added your Google Wallet account, you will want to go down to the bottom of the screen and select the “Check account balance” option. Now, you will need to input your password to check your phone balance. In order to do so, you will need to make sure that your phone is connected to the Internet. Once it is connected, you will see a link on the screen that says “Wallet balance:” You can simply click on this link to go to the balance page.
Use MasterCard PayPass for iPhone Balance Checking
If you have an iPhone running iOS 7.1 or higher, you can also use MasterCard PayPass to check your phone balance. Just like with the Google Wallet example above, open up the Settings menu and choose the option that says “Add account.” From there, you will need to select “Add another account.” Next, you will want to select the “PayPass” option to add your MasterCard PayPass account. Now, you will want to select your PayPass account on the screen. From there, you will want to open the “Wallet” section, and scroll down to the “Balance” option. Once you find this option, you can simply tap on it to view your balance.
Use Another Network for Samsung Balance Checking
As mentioned above, you can also use a third party app to check your balance without the help of your carrier. One such app is MySimCard. The way that this app works is that you buy a SIM card from another network. Once you purchase a new SIM card, you can insert it into your phone and log into your MySimCard account. From there, you can check your balance and use your phone as normal. One thing to keep in mind is that your new SIM card will be given a new phone number. You will need to decide if this is something that you are okay with.
